Meet the Team

CHRISTINA ALEXANDER

Founder and Lead Consultant (Trainer/Coach)

Christina Alexander (she/her) is a leader living at the intersection of education, and the arts. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Barry University and a Master's in Musicology from University of Miami and is in the midst of PhD studies in Conflict Analysis and Resolution.  With over 20 years of professional experience and training (in) EDIAB and Antiracism, Arts (Administration, Performance, Education, Production), Organizational Development/Management, Curriculum Development, and Nonprofit, she brings these pieces, and more, into every room. Her passion for justice is the driving force behind her commitment to encouraging and empowering all who seek to speak true, live fairly, understand how we all have something to add to our global landscape.

 

She founded the South Florida Kids Choir and is a founding member of Diversity in Arts Collective.  As a grant writer, Christina has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars for clients and provided support with reporting to funders.  She has worked within communities and correctional institutions alike providing opportunities for artistic expression and development.  As a radio personality, she spent years as the voice providing insight, humor, and calm for your ride home (with a bit of rock music playing also).

 

Singing/Performing/Teaching is her vocation, but it is also her passion.  Her original theatrical piece “HATE: An American Love Story” addressed issues of gender, sexuality, race, and faith. Some of her performance credits include: Various Cruise Ships, Dreamgirls, RENT, Little Shop of Horrors, Mahalia: A Gospel Musical, It Ain’t Nothing But the Blues, Harlem Duet. She has toured and taught Music, Theater, and Musical Theater for over a decade, on several continents.  She is also an accomplished Music Director for productions such as: "It Ain't Nothing But the Blues," "Crowns," "5 Guys Named Moe," and "Ain't Misbehavin" to name a few.

 

 Having been to over 70 countries, Christina loves to discuss travel, pets, the arts, and cooking amazing treats!

CAREY BRIANNA HART

Trainer | Coach

Carey Brianna Hart is a native Floridian, born in Miami. She graduated from the New World School of the Arts. She continued her theatrical education studying Acting, Playwriting and Directing in Chicago, Illinois at the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Studies. 

 

After graduation, Carey returned to Miami to share her love of theatre with the children of the Miami Dade County Public Schools System as a drama teacher. After leaving the school system, she has continued to work with junior and high school students on a one on one basis giving private acting lessons and coaching for magnet programs and college auditions. She has also taught with the Children’s Theatre Programs of the AreaStage and M Ensemble Theatre Company. 

 

Carey has worked on stage and backstage in South Florida theatre in productions by the African American Performing Arts Community Theatre, AreaStage, GableStage, M Ensemble Theatre Company, Mad Cat, New Theatre, Thinking Cap Theatre, the Vinnette Carroll Theatre and the Women’s Theatre Project. Carey is a company member of the M Ensemble Theatre Company, Mad Cat Theatre & the Thinking Cap
Theatre.

 

Carey has worked actively with the Afro-Academic Cultural Technological & Scientific Olympics, mentoring students in Drama, Playwriting, Oratory and Poetry. She has coached numerous students who have become NAACP National ACT-SO Medalists. She has directed productions of Sisters, Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery, Tears A Sister Cries and a live theatrical series she wrote called Whiskey Redemption. She is also the author of Dust Tracks, a one woman show of Zora Neale Hurston. 

 

Carey seeks to continue contributing to the Artistic Landscape of the World.

KAMEELAH BENJAMIN-FULLER

Consultant | Facilitator | Trainer/Coach

Kameelah Benjamin-Fuller (she/her) drives transformational change as an activist, champion of equity, diversity, and inclusion (ED+I), musician, and mom. As Chief Diversity Officer and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Leader at PTC, she is responsible for supporting the company’s full activation of opportunity in this space. 

She brings over 20 years of experience in ED+I and CSR initiatives across industries including entertainment, financial services, technology, and travel. Kameelah is passionate about empowering individuals, communities, and organizations to recognize their ability to create impactful change through strong brands, healthy environments, and clear purpose. 

She’s worked with organizations including Gillette/P&G, Korn Ferry, youth programs, social justice organizations, and correctional facilities. Most recently, she co-founded and led ED+I at Tripadvisor, where she ignited a small program into its current global remit, extending efforts into the workplace and product experience.

 

As the founder of G-Rock Music, Kameelah has dedicated the past several years to elevating the voices of womxn in rock and womxn of color in music. The collective focuses on showcasing emerging, renowned, and legendary womxn in music by creating forums and platforms for artists to share their story and their craft. 

Kameelah received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University, and her Master’s in African-New World Studies from Florida International University. 

She has a penchant for karaoke, RVing, and classic rock.
